Who We Are
At Breath of Life Church, everything we do centers on one thing — Jesus Christ. We’re a family of everyday people who have found true life and freedom in Him, and our greatest desire is for others to experience that same life‑changing hope.
Our Story
Our roots in Flagstaff go back to 1939, when we began as First Assembly of God. For more than 80 years, we’ve been a part of this community, sharing the same timeless message:
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, Jesus, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.” — John 3:16
We’ve been at our current location since 1973. In early 2014, after seeking the leading of the Holy Spirit, our pastors, church board, and congregation felt a fresh call to bring the power, love, and life of Jesus to our city in a renewed way. With that new vision came a new name. Inspired by Ezekiel 37, where the breath of life brings the dead back to life, First Assembly of God became Breath of Life Church.

Today, our mission is simple: to be a church family built around the life and love of Jesus. We want to help you Know God, Live out His purposes for your life, and Share His love with the people around you.
